Spontaneous Combustion In The Car Park?

No!

It's a bad habit I've acquired. Namely that I wear my shoes until they simply can take no more strain and then drive to the nearest shoe warehouse to buy replacements. The replacements must be worn there and then so I leave the discarded ones in the car park as a monument to consumerism. Today was the first day of  Stockton Riverside Festival and I recall that I left a pair of shoes in the self same car park during last years festivities too. Could be performance art perhaps?
